In this work, gold and silver nanoparticles were prepared. A (Nd-YAG) laser with two wavelengths of nm (532 & 1064) was used, the laser energy and the number of pulses were fixed at 80mJ), 500 pulses, respectively, and the repetition rate was 6Hz by the pulsed laser scraping method. (PLA) in liquid phase (LP) for a gold and silver coin immersed in pure twice deionized non-ionic water (DDDW). The morphology was studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) and it was proved that the samples prepared with wavelength of 1064 nm have larger grain sizes than those prepared with wavelength of 532 nm. EDX analysis reveals that the samples prepared are of high purity and contain elements Ag and Au in high proportions. The optical properties of the prepared colloidal solutions were also studied using ultraviolet and visible spectrometers, if the results showed spectra of SPE, a spectrum showing a sharp and single peak around the value 400,526, which indicates the generation of pure gold and silver nanoparticles, respectively. The effect of the prepared nanomaterials on two types of bacteria, Gram positive Staphy bacteria and Gram Negative E.coli bacteria, which cause many common diseases, were also studied. From 532 nm, he obtained laboratory results for those prepared samples, which showed that silver has a great effectiveness in eliminating bacteria. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
