Sound speed and density experiments of SDS (sodium dodecyl sulphate), DTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide), and [12-2-12] gemini surfactants with the drug metformin hyhdrochloride (0.001, 0.005, and 0.01 moldm3) were done at temperatures of 298, 308, and 318) K. This information was being used to determine molar volume, apparent (ϕK), and molar compressibility, apparent (ϕV). The critical micelle concentrations (CMCs) of SDS, [12-2-12] and DTAB, in the aforesaid aqueous metformin hydrochloride solutions were measured using sound velocity and density measurements.
