Abstrakt: Pollution is increasing invariably and is the advanced problem faced by major cities recently. The existence of NO and NO2 in atmosphere is accomplishing extensive problems in degrading the Ozone layer. The day by day NOx pollutants are increasing at a rapid rate and enhance the problems causing Global warming. TiO2 is used to abolish the anthropogenic NOx pollutants from the surface of concrete incorporated. The cement manufactured by the cement industry releases large amount of CO2 content of 5% to 7% towards atmosphere, which leads to the main cause of Global warming. The use of supplementary cementitious materials such as Metakaolin, Silica Fume and Fly Ash in appropriate percentage replacement by cement, which not only aid in the reduction of CO2 content from the environment but also helps in improving certain mechanical activities of the concrete. In this review paper, mechanical strength characteristics behaviour of supplementary cementitious material, Steel fiber and Titanium Oxides have been reviewed and discussed. It have been found that on addition of Steel Fiber to concrete reports improvement in tensile properties, which enhances the comprehensive strength of concrete as reported by many researchers. It has been reported that, optimum dosage of metakaolin varies from 9%-20% replacement by proportion of cement, optimum dosage for Steel Fiber incorporation varies from 0.5%-1.5% by fractional volume of concrete and optimum dosage of TiO2 varies from 1%-5% by the weight of cement.
