Thermo-economic analysis of coal fired power plants - A comparative study.

Abstrakt: The system energy balance isn't always appropriate for detecting system flaws. Increasing the efficiency of individual systems of the plants would make a considerable difference. Numerous scholars have examined a systematic literature review of electricity, exergy, exergy-economic, and economic study of thermal power plants over the years. In this study, a significant amount of work has been done in fossil fuel power plants on the thermodynamic study of the Rankine period of subcritical, supercritical, and ultra-supercritical fossil fueled fired power plants. Further, energy, exergy and economic analysis of these three power plants of different capacities were clearly examined. This paper is intended for researchers who are working on 3-E analysis in a variety of coal-fired power plants. The scope of future research in coal-fired power plants is also indicated in this study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
