Abstrakt: |
The article investigate the role of UCHL1 (ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase 1) in regulating SARS-CoV-2 infection in human airway epithelial cells. It discusses how inhibiting UCHL1 enzymatic activity with LDN-57444 suppresses SARS-CoV-2 replication in a dose-dependent manner. It also explores the impact of UCHL1 overexpression on virus replication and suggests that targeting UCHL1 activity may lead to the development of antiviral compounds. |
