Topological indices correlating the molecular structure of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.

Abstrakt: Coronavirus is a disease that has made a significant impact all around the world. Initially, its eruption occurred in Wuhan city in China, later on, its proliferation spread everywhere in the universe. The topological index is a numerical descriptor that combines the molecular structure with copious fields such as chemical, biological, medical and so on. Using these indices, it is possible to characterize and study the physico-chemical properties of drugs. The molecular structure of two pharmacological medications, chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine, is compared in this research, which is used to impede the coronavirus outbreak and, in the meanwhile, we compute some topological indices relating to the same. This paper forms a base for further analysis and to explore new vaccines and drugs in the future. The foremost intention of the work is to have a combined knowledge of graph theory and chemistry by using the topological indices and molecular structure of the chemical compound.
