Species with the highest use values (UV) were selected for phytochemical screening. In total, 79 respondents were interviewed and 36 species distributed in 23 plant families were identified. Based on the UV, the most important species were Olax subscorpiodea (UV=0.13), Crinum glaucum (UV=0.12), Allium ascalonicum (UV=0.09), Allium sativum (UV=0.06), Zingiber officinale (UV=0.05), and Securidaca longipendiculata (UV=0.05).
