In 2019 the agricultural sector contributed 1.81% to Indonesia's economic growth, this provided an opportunity for the automotive rubber parts industry to develop agricultural products, namely rubber crawlers for combine harvester machines. Based on internal trial data from January - September 2019, the highest defect in rubber crawler products is a joint crack by 90%, where this defect is caused during the curing process in rubber crawler production. By using the Six Sigma methodology and using the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) cycle, can implement improvement with FMEA, and the result is the Sigma level increased from 1.36 to 5.76 with a cost saving of IDR. 621,000,000 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
