Abstrakt: | The article deals with a program launched by the University of Miami-Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Florida in 2023 that focuses on high-risk prevention and wellness for individuals who may be at risk for developing cancer in their lifetime. Topics include the objective of the initiative, how a patient's genetic risk for cancer is evaluated through germline testing in the cancer center, and some of the risk factors considered for breast cancer such as sex, age and family history. |
