The article discusses a study conducted by Nuoya Chen, Huixin Deng, Jinfeng (Jenny) Jiao, and Xiucheng Fan, examining how intelligible units in nutrition labels impact consumers' perception of nutritional information and their food choices. The study finds that interpreting nutrition numbers with intelligible units, such as providing relatable comparisons leads to a higher perceived magnitude compared to using only normal units. |
