Abstrakt: |
Wave propagation is observed on a thin film. The fluid is on an inclined plane so that it can be modeled based on theory of lubrication. Together with the fluid boundaries, the fluid thickness can be expressed into a partial differential equation. The difficulty in solving the equation is strongly non-linear of the model. A numerical approach is the alternative way that can be done. The numerical stability of that equation is our main concern in this paper, before we solve the model numerically. We found that the numerical method of forward time central space (FTCS) is conditional stable. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
