Fe-doped ZnO (FZO) films have been fabricated using a spray technique with different solvents. Solvent variations are aqua dest, isopropyl alcohol, and ethanol. Here, the photodetector performance of the films is measured under dark and UV illumination. The current increase under UV illumination indicates that all samples are sensitive to UV light. At the bias voltage of 10 V, the sensitivity of FZO film grown using aqua dest, alcohol, and ethanol solvents is 16, 12, and 8 respectively. This result is important to improve the functionality of ZnO as sensing applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
