Today, technological processes in all branches of production are being automated as much as possible in the world, and this also applies to construction. At the same time, the main driving force behind the automation of construction processes is 3D printing technology. Along with this, the amount of material used for this purpose in construction is also increasing. The article describes an experimental study of a dome model made using 3D technology from PLA plastic. The test methodology is presented, the calculation of the dome model using the finite element method is performed.
