The application of non-traditional reinforcement in structural elements made of cellular concrete.

Abstrakt: Nowadays construction industry increasingly uses building materials and structures that are easy to manufacture and have sufficient strength and thermal properties. The last one is especially important concerning total saving of energy resources. Cellular concrete are according to most of the specified requirements. The most common types of such concrete are foam concrete and cellular concrete. Besides their advantages, they have one significant drawback – they are fragile. Therefore, without additional strengthening, it is difficult to use them in structural elements, especially if they are span structures. The main research task was to substantiate the possibility of applying non-traditional reinforcement in structural elements made of cellular concrete, which would be an effective substitute for steel rod reinforcement.
