The article describes a method developed for rapid inspection of denitrified fly ash at the concrete plant before their entry into the silo. The fly ash undergoes a denitrification process, which is leading to its contamination by ammonia ions, what has negative impact on the work conditions at concrete plant and construction site as well. The article describes a method developed for rapid inspection of denitrified fly ash before acceptation by the concrete plant, thus before their entry into the silo, because the content of ammonia determines suitability for the common use at the construction site. The application of unsuitable fly ash would lead to the non-fulfillment of current hygienic regulations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
