Abstrakt:	The article reports on different topics discussed during the 31st Congress of The World Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. It highlights a case study of a patient who underwent simultaneous surgical correction for pectus excavatum and ascending aorta aneurysm, emphasizing favorable outcomes. It also presents a systematic review of the literature analyzing the difference in degrees of dilation between woven and knitted Dacron grafts in postoperative follow-ups of aortic surgeries.
