Abstrakt: CT angiogram and perfusion studies demonstrated left MCA territory hypoperfusion and 3.5 cm near-complete occlusion or dissection of the left internal carotid artery (ICA) commencing above the common carotid artery (CCA). Symptoms described include TIA, cranial neuropathies, ICA dissection and stroke.[[2]] Note that ESPs occur incidentally, producing no symptoms in 4-18.2% of the population.[4] SAS is rare, with reported incidence of 4-8 per 10 000.
