Abstrakt: |
One of the characteristics of abstraction that is important for students to master is generalization. Generalization is the ability to perceive or express patterns, structures, data, images or the next term and produce general conclusions and can apply these patterns or rules to other problems. To bring up the generalization type of mathematical abstraction process, teachers must apply appropriate learning models and utilize learning media so that the teaching and learning process becomes more effective and efficient. In this study, the learning model used is Creative Problem Solving with the help of Articulate Storyline 3 media. The type of research used is development research, which aims to produce a product in the form of CPS-based worksheet for sequences and series material to see students' generalization abilities. The instrument is in the form of worksheet for arithmetic sequences and series which will be tested on class IX students to see its practicality. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the generalization type of students' mathematical abstraction skills through Creative Problem Solving learning assisted by Articulate Storyline 3, especially in the arithmetic sequence material, can be seen in the generalization stages, and some students have also been able to generalize well.
