The curve α is called a general helix if ⟨V1,W⟩ is a constant function, where W is a constant vector field different from zero. We define the second kind of harmonic curvatures and Darboux vector of a non-null unit speed curve and give different characterizations of general helices with this curvatures and with the second kind of Darboux vector.
