Describes the development of technology of obtaining dry extract from the roots of Althaea armeniaca or Armenian sweetweed collected in Uzbekistan. Extraction from the roots of sweetweed to reduce the process duration and exclude the use of ethyl alcohol and sugar; Raw material for the dry extract production; Total content of polysaccharides in the raw materials; Evaporation of the aqueous extract; Description of Armenian sweetweed or Althaea armeniaca as a perennial grass of the Malveseae family occurring in Uzbekistan in riparian woodlands, gardens and laylands; Chemical composition of A. armeniaca and officinalis; Use of the sweetweed as an anti-inflammatory and expectorant remedy for the treatment of catarrhal respiratory tracts. |
