The article reports that the treatment of steel in special treatment units outside the steelmaking furnace has become a staple of steelmaking in recent years. Such treatments are usually administered in steel-pouring ladles, ladle-furnaces, and vacuum-degassing units. One of the most important operations carried out in most treatment units is mixing of the steel, which is often done by injecting it with gases (argon, nitrogen). The company Tekkom developed the technologies Alternierendes Pfannen Spulen and Dreh Pfannen Spulen to perform the task of rapidly and correctly refining steel in treatment units. |
