This works reports material bending analysis of conformal structure 5G band antenna resonate at 3.5 GHz. The conventional rectangular structure constructed by FR4 substrate material 1.6mm thickness with dialectic constant of 4.4 connected λ/4 quarter wave transformer for better impedance matching of 50Ω transmission line. The overall antenna structure dimension is 49x 46x1.6mm3 and radiating dimension is 19x26mm2. Another conformal structure PVC substrate material with dielectric constant of 2.7 utilized for depositing conventional rectangular patch antenna for analysis of S11 reflection coefficient, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) and gain. By changing different radius (R) of PVC material the antenna bending characteristics has estimated in this work. The conventional structure resonate at 3.5GHz, S11 is-23.47dB, gain is 4.1dB and observed S11, VSWR and gain of different R value from 22mm, 20mm, 18mm and 15mm. Because of bending nature the resultant frequency is shifted left and S11 is degrade to-12dB but maintain-10dB return loss scale. This proposed structure is analyzed with help of 3D EM high frequency structural simulator. The overall antenna characteristic S11, VSWR and gain is estimated with different bending condition and claimed this structure is most essential and suitable of 5G band (3.2-3.8GHz) application.
