Discusses the study of hydrolysis of o-Alkyl methylphosphonofluoridates by quantum chemical methods. Demonstration that, in this reaction, as well as in other reactions of nucleophilic substitution at the phosphorus atom, intermediate five-coordinate structures are formed; in some cases, the existence of these intermediates was supported by experiments. |
