Defect or losing a part of a finger or hand due to trauma or congenitally missing can be devastating for an individual, it can be either complete or partial loss. Hands and fingers play a very important role in our day-to-day life not only on the aesthetic front but also functional. Replacing such missing parts is challenging, as it also depends on the anatomy of the residual stump of the defect. This case report describes a simple and cost-effective approach to the rehabilitation of a partially missing part of the right ring finger using an acrylic substructure for adequate retention.
