The unfolding information and digital age have led to the emergence of new digital forms of employment in the labor market, to the expansion of IT specializations in the information economy. The study aims to assess the gender specifics of the remote segment of digital employment. The authors carried out a gender content analysis of applicants' resumes with an indication of the remote work schedule, posted on the largest Russian digital portal for job search and personnel. The results of the analysis made it possible to calculate the structure of specializations in the field of information technology in the labor market of Russia and the structure of the remote segment of digital employment in Russia for 2015-2021. The results of the gender analysis of resumes by groups of professions showed the presence of gender specificity and made it possible to identify male and female preferences for professional areas in the labor market. The authors identified the metrics that characterize the digital asymmetry and professional qualifications in the field of information technology. The results of the work can find practical application in improving state regulation of the digital segment of the labor market, in updating the internal regulations for the work of regional departments for labor and employment in the field of employment promotion.
