Abstrakt: The application of the Internet of Things in smart rooms has been widely carried out and researched, but most of these studies have several shortcomings, including the control of electronic devices is limited to one main control device, not yet equipped with automation control of electronic devices, not yet equipped with the ability to monitor the use of device. electronic device and has not been equipped with real-time monitoring of the condition of electronic device. From the deficiencies found, the idea of making a smart room with multi-user access was created that allows a room to be controlled by many users at once by utilizing Internet of Things technology. This study aims to explain the development of the IoT-Based Prototype of Smart Room Multiuser Access. The system built consists of two subsystems, namely web apps and embedded systems. System development is carried out using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) software development model. Non-functional testing of the system was carried out using the Compatibility testing method and the results were that no critical problems were found on the web apps. System functionality testing is carried out using the black box testing method with a total of 36 test cases and given the results that can be run and accepted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
