The use of low energy ovens to increase the production of the fish processing home industry in Pati.

Abstrakt: There are several Micro Small Medium Enterprises, (MSME) located in Pasuruan Village, which is located in Kayen District, Pati Regency. One of the MSME that have been in the fish processing business is Aghfa Food and Aghfa Kitchen which produce processed fish products. Entrepreneurs of pastries using fish ingredients will increase their business production by using electric ovens. The production process that has been carried out so far uses natural solar heat. During the rainy season, production decreases because the drying process using the sun's heat source cannot be carried out. The Undip Research Team applied the research results in the form of energy saving oven. An electric oven with a 50 Hz alternating current power source is used to dry fish which will be processed into pastries at the home industry in Pati. The results of the application of low energy oven technology show that the best optimum temperature for drying fish is 80o C with an electrical energy consumption of 450 Watts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
