Abstrakt: Groundwater quality is continuously being deteriorated by various natural and man-made phenomena such as acid rain, leaching, surface water run-off, etc. In this study, we tested the water samples for 11 parameters to check whether the water is suitable for agriculture and drinking purposes. There are a number of physical and chemical characteristics that must be taken into consideration that impact the quality of the groundwater including turbidity, acidity of the solution, calcium, total dissolved solids, hardness (Ca-H), Sulphate, Phosphate, Fluoride, Chloride, and so on. Thus, their influence on the surrounding environment and aquatic species, as the presence of some heavy metals has negative effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
