This article reports that the Northern Dutchess Hospital has added a MRI service that is patient-friendly and virtually eliminates patient anxiety and claustrophobia. The same American College of Radiology-accredited mobile MRI unit will now be providing in-patient and out-patient exams five days per week. This will improve access and expedite patient care. The equipment used is GE 1.5T High Speed Plus Wide Open Short Bore. |
