This article presents a curriculum guide for adolescent medicine. The Society for Adolescent Medicine was organized in 1968 by a group of physicians who were primarily concerned with health care delivery to adolescents in various settings throughout the country. Its current membership now includes over 500 health professionals from the U.S. and some 20 foreign countries. The Education Committee of The Society for Adolescent Medicine has developed a curriculum guide to help prepare physicians to provide the highest quality of adolescent care according to their particular degree of involvement and responsibility. |
