Abstrakt: Individual nanofibers from composite layers «manganese oxide/multi-walled carbon nanotubes» and «manganese oxide doped with copper oxide/multi-walled carbon nanotubes» were obtained. It has been established that individual nanofibers have improved gas sensitivity to nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. The response and recovery times in the exposed gases for obtaining nanofibers were several seconds. The current flow in this nanustructures through the potential barrier between gold contact, oxide and nanotube was shown. The influence of «Au/MnO2-x/nanotube» and «Au/MnO2-x(CuO)/nanotube» heterojunctions on the gas sensitivity of nanofibers was demonstrated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
