An algorithm is developed for calculating the reliability of a high-voltage two-channel capacitive aircraft ignition system in normal conditions and when some components are damaged. The goal is to ensure viability of the ignition system in abnormal operating conditions. In calculating the reliability, the laws of discharge processes in semiconductor ignitions are taken into account. Formulas for the probability of fault-free ignition are derived.
