Effective learning is evidenced by the effect of learning activities, in this case, the achievement of the learning objectives. Effective learning is closely related to the learning activities system used. Therefore, researchers aimed to find out the effect of google chat on Islamic education learning activities. This study used the participatory action research method on 142 students as samples. The data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. Based on the results, the attendance of students in learning activities through google chat was very good, student participationin Islamic education learning activities through google chat was not good, while responses to the use of google chat as an online learning platform were very good. Islamic education learning activities using google chat did not have a fundamental difference from face-to-face learning activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
