Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the play "Mrs. Beeton's History of the World," which was first produced by Perspectives Theatre Company in 1991. Characters include Mrs. Isabella Beeton Caroline and her maid-of-all-work. The original cast includes Alison McKinno as Mrs. Beeton and Sally Armstrong as Caroline. The set consists of a working Victorian kitchen, with some modern technology cunningly concealed in it. The range which looks like the "Improved Leamington Kitchener as adapted for families" but in fact contains a working microwave. |
