Abstrakt:	In this double-blind study of 60 infants with undifferentiated respiratory diseases, antibiotics seemed of no benefit in shortening the median duration of illness or in p veil ting secondary complications. The conclusion is drawn that the danger of complications from the antibiotics themselves is greater than the good which many physicians believe that antibiotics produce in such diseases.
