—he influence of the mechanical properties of a thin metal–ceramic film on the wear rate of the frictional surfaces in the shaft–coating–bush system is investigated. By adjusting the chemical composition of the shaft, coating, and bearing bush, the mechanical and tribological properties may be modified, and hence the system's performance may be improved.
