Abstrakt: In this paper, a numerical study of processes in a test combustor is provided with a focus on the effects of different grid resolutions of the boundary layer and the influence of the turbulent Schmidt numbers. The test combustor developed at the Technical University of Munich has been chosen as the object of the simulations. The results obtained using the low-Reynolds and the high-Reynolds approaches in the Favre-averaged Navier-Stokes system framework are considered while pressure and wall heat flux are chosen as main criterion. The calculated values show quite satisfactory agreement with the experimental data and the solution shows different influence of the grid resolution for different turbulent Schmidt numbers, which is interesting and may be an object for further studies using different test cases.
