Abstrakt: Zeoforming process is a new process which produce high-octane gasoline up to RON-96 from naphtha without adding high-octane additives and antiknock agents. The process is based on the use zeolite-containing catalysts and does not require preliminary sulfur- or hydrotreating of naphtha and using of hydrogen by conversion of low octane components into higher octane hydrocarbons. The detailed mechanism of catalytic conversion of different type of naphtha hydrocarbons in the presence of catalysts IK-30 and KN-30 as well as optimal conditions of the process are given in this article. Zeoforming process has been implemented in industry in Russia, Poland, Georgia and can be recommended for implementation in particular for oil refining plants or as stand- alone unit in Iraq.
