The adsorption of Coomassie Brilliant blue G250 dye onto Walnut husks(WH) was examined in this research. The adsorbent's characterization was carried out utilizing SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy). The removal ratio is 97.72 % Under optimum conditions (dye concentration 15 mg/L, the adsorbent material weight of 0.0300g, pH 4, and the contact period of 30 min.). Used to depict the experimental equilibrium adsorption data Temkin, Freundlich, Langmuir, Halsey, and Jovanovich isotherm models. The Langmuir model matches the adsorption isothermal data well. Thermodynamic investigations revealed that dye adsorption is an endothermic, spontaneous, and Increases in randomness. The kinetic experiments demonstrated that the pseudo-second order model is better than the first order model. These findings suggest that walnut husks perhaps useful as a low-cost adsorbent For removing CBB G250 dye from aqueous solutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
