Abstrakt: Zinc nanomaterial characterized by the spread of pollution at high concentrations it is also used in many applications in many felids. The responses of antioxidant enzymes to changes in Zink Oxide nanoparticles (Z) concentration were studied and their results were analyzed. Dose of Zink Oxide nanoparticles (Z) were (0–600 mg/l), in response of antioxidant enzymes that superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and Malondialdehyde contents in three of wild plants (Lepidium sativum, Peganum harmala and Portulaca oleracea), in Najaf, Iraq, 2022 for a period of 30 days. The compare between the studied plants in antioxidant enzyme activities when using concentrations (0, 150, 300 and 600) mg/l of Z, the maximum values in SOD activities were at control and the minimum value was in 600 mg/l and Peganum harmala plants appeared the higher response with 0.035 unite/mg as compared with the other plants. The maximum values in CAT activities appeared in a Peganum harmala plant in 91.3 mol/sec*mg, and the lowest values appeared in a plant Portulaca oleracea with 14.7 mol/sec*mg in 150mg/l treatments. The comparison between the Malondialdehyde contents were the maximum values 600 mg/l and the minimum value in control. As for the Peganum harmala plant, it was not affected much, and this indicates the variation in the response of the studied plants to the doses of nano-zinc according to the different types of plants. The effect of Z on three wild plants for the purpose of demonstrating the responses of plant antioxidant as effective biomarkers for increasing the concentration of nanomaterial's in the ecosystem.
