Determining the concentration of carbon monoxide in the human exhalation is undoubtedly important in diagnosing carbon monoxide poisoning levels and verifying the results of studies in smokers. The circuit diagram and a prototype of the device for monitoring the relative level of CO was created, which has two sensors: for analyzing the composition of exhalation, and for fixing the level of CO in the environment was developed. This decision allows to take into account the impact of the environment on the results received. In preliminary studies it has been shown that the average value of the relative level of CO in the exhalation of a group of non-smokers ranged from 25 to 70 conventional units, depending on the age and health of the persons participating in the trial.
