Abstrakt: The pollution considerations and the economic view of reliable and cheap production have pushed the permanent magnet machines to stand in proceed position in many fields of machines industrial applications. Whereas the sensorless controllers become mature day after day to support and satisfy the beneficial applications for these machines. This paper employs only measurements of the machine terminal voltages to establish a mathematical model whose function is to present sensorless standstill position estimation of one-degree resolution and approximately 5% error estimation. No current measurements are required, therefore the current sensing sensors are eliminated. No position sensors and techniques for magnet polarity detection of the rotor are required as well. The proposed paper strategy was applied on a non-salient synchronous machine and tested by the (MATLAB-Simulink-R-2018). It can be modified to be applicable for any other type of permanent magnet machine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
