Abstrakt: This article examines the impact of work motivation, emotional intelligence, and competence on occupation satisfaction in the library service in South Sulawesi. The study finds that these factors have positive effects on work performance and occupation satisfaction. The article emphasizes the importance of these factors in improving the quality of library services and promoting a reading culture. It also highlights the challenges faced by librarians in the digital era and the need for professional and personal abilities to adapt to changing demands. The research findings suggest that increasing employee satisfaction is crucial for motivating employees and influencing their performance, and the article recommends improving training to drive motivation, competence, achievement, and satisfaction among library service employees.
