Synthesis of Boronates with a Protoilludane Skeleton.

Abstrakt: The crude residue was purified by flash column chromatography (5 g SiO SB 2 sb , Hex/EtOAc 1:1) to afford diol B 10 b as a colorless oil; yield: 7.80 mg (29.7 mol, 87%); I R SB f sb i = 0.07 (Hex/EtOAc 9:1) [KMnO SB 4 sb ]. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the crude product was purified by flash column chromatography (5 g SiO SB 2 sb , CH SB 2 sb Cl SB 2 sb /MTBE 7:3). Subsequently, vinylboronic acid B 1 b (3.07 mol, 521 L, 5.00 equiv.) and CH SB 2 sb Cl SB 2 sb (3 mL) were added and the mixture was stirred at 40 °C for 5 h.
