Abstrakt: AMPs are a class of small molecule alkaline peptides that widely exist in nature, which have multiple biological functions and are not prone to drug resistance. They are an ideal alternative to antibiotics. The article reviews the physicochemical characteristics and classification of AMPs, elaborates on their biological functions and mechanisms of action, focuses on the application effect and research progress of AMPs in poultry farming, to provide effective references for livestock producers.
