Abstrakt: Commission on Accreditation Management Education (CAHME) accreditation standards provide key drivers for curriculum improvements for graduate healthcare programs. The standards related to student career readiness prompted our healthcare MBA (HCMBA) program to assess if any gaps were in the curriculum. The HCMBA program then applied curriculum revisions from lessons learned based on this assessment to ensure that graduates are career-ready as leaders and policy-change agents in a rapidly changing healthcare delivery system beset by many significant new challenges. The curriculum assessment led to the development of a transformative educational model called the "FTP Framework," including three core components: foundational learning, tools certifications, and practical applications. To assess the efficacy of the FTP framework, we developed a survey utilizing established scales. Our HCMBA students, who were taught using this transformative educational curriculum, completed the survey. The survey results support our assertion that an applied transformative HCMBA curriculum can successfully enhance students' perception of career readiness and overall knowledge gained across hybrid and online modalities. The curriculum has also been peer-reviewed, resulting in a CAHME curriculum innovation award. We hope that the FTP framework will be useful for other programs to use and map steps to achieving student career readiness in their respective curriculum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
