Selection of a relevant dispersant for use in the process of pyrolysis of methane in condensed media.

Abstrakt: A dispersant based on aluminum-zirconium ceramics was selected for use in the process of pyrolysis of methane or other hydrocarbons in condensed media. The use of such a dispersant based on aluminum-zirconium ceramics will increase the phase interface between the gas and the condensed medium - to obtain a larger number of gas bubbles with a diameter of up to 5 mm in the condensed medium compared to previously used single holes or nozzles, as well as to increase the residence time of the gas in the condensed phase. The experimental data obtained allow us to conclude that it is advisable to use a ceramic dispersant based on alumina-zirconium ceramics instead of single holes or nozzles. Thus, the use of a dispersant in the process of pyrolysis of methane or other hydrocarbons will lead to an increase in the surface area of the reaction, a decrease in the activation energy of the reaction of pyrolysis of hydrocarbons in a condensed medium, and an increase in the degree of conversion of methane or other hydrocarbons. The prospect for further research is the development of the use of the developed dispersant based on alumina-zirconium ceramics under the operating conditions of a reactor for hydrogen production by pyrolysis of hydrocarbons in a condensed medium.
