The COVID-19 pandemic has made exceptional impacts internationally that has changed the lives of people all around the world as per the new normal social and office norms. In the new normal conditions, there is a paradigm shift of activities on virtual platforms in all the sectors. The health emergency caused by the corona pandemic has stopped the world, but information technology has allowed people to maintain active virtual connections. Stress caused by a pandemic raises the likelihood of cyberattacks. This article analyses the COVID-19 pandemic from a cybersecurity perspective and sheds light on the various cyberattacks that have occurred around the world during the pandemic. The present study provides review and insights of reports on cyber security issues and the way forward to overcome the IT crimes, risks and scam. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
