The aim of the study is to assess the current state of the commercial aquaculture industry in the country and at the regional level, to identify the main trends, to propose promising directions for the development of the industry in modern economic conditions. The main directions of increasing the volume of commercial aquaculture production are considered. A key factor in the development of fish farming enterprises in the region is an increase in the volume of supplies of manufactured products of commercial aquaculture to foreign markets and the strengthening of interregional cooperation. As a result of the study, the main directions for the development of the commercial fish farming industry and the market for commercial aquaculture products at the regional level are proposed, the main of which is the creation of wholesale and logistics centers for trade in fish products.
