Abstrakt: The atmosphere has different characteristics for each altitude and it changes with place and time. The beam propagated from the radar has a different path depending on the atmosphere, thereby changing the radar performance. So, it is necessary to analyze atmospheric conditions to prevent the radar performance degradation. In this paper, based on four weather data over the past seven years(`16~`22), the analysis methods and result of atmospheric conditions affecting the radar performance were described. As a result, the refractive index tended to increase over the years and it had a larger refractive index in the east than the west. Also, comparing the frequency of ducting occurrence, the west had about 5% higher incidence than the east during seven years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
